EBD in the Community.

Since taking over as owner of the EBD – Matt and Adrienne Lamos have given back to the Waverly community in countless ways. From gift certificates for benefit auctions and post-prom giveaways to donating a portion of an evenings proceeds to Heritage Days, reading to children at the local public library, and talking to students of all ages about life in the restaurant world – Matt loves giving back to the community his family calls home.

One of Matt’s favorite ways to give back to Waverly is through sponsorship of a softball team in the Waverly-Shell Rock Youth Baseball & Softball program. The EBD is proudly sponsoring 2 softball teams this year since Matt couldn’t decide which of the Combs’ girls (my daughters) was more worthy of the EBD jersey this year!

With over 700 area youth playing softball or baseball through the WSRBBSB program having local businesses sponsor teams is crucial. These sponsorships help cover the costs of uniforms, field maintenance, umpires, gear, and countless softballs and baseballs!
